Ted Kennedy's 1967 Oldsmobile Delmont 88

September 4, 2009 - Some men are born great; others have greatness thrust upon them. As we ponder upon the life of the late SENATOR EDWARD KENNEDY, we realize that he had a bit of both. We're also seeing that along with fame came infamy; it seems that no one can extricate his life of public service and good works without the spectre of that ghastly incident in Chappaquiddick, Massachusetts. The image of the waterlogged 1967 OLDSMOBILE DELMONT 88 being towed from the mucky waters of the tidal channel leaves an indelible image for us all. There was never a consensus on what exactly happened that night, and now the truth will remain a secret to be buried with the Senator for eternity. - Liz Kim
