Tyra's Curvy New Model

 February 10, 2009 - For most people in America, TYRA BANKS is known as the beautifully curvy model seen in the pages of Victoria's Secret catalogs. After all, that's how she first made her way into homes across the country. Now retired from her craft - at the ancient age of 35 - she writes, produces and presents America's Next Top Model. She may claim that her long tyrades (see what we did there?) directed at impressionable models are written into the show, but they certainly smack of reckless crazy talk. What isn't insane, however, is her choice of car: a MERCEDES-BENZ S-CLASS. Available with either a V8 or V12 engine, the German feat of engineering starts at $90k and can reach $200,000 for the AMG-tuned monsters. Shaping the reality TV careers of young models must be paying off nicely.
