Super Bowl XLIII Ads: Toyota Venza

 

After caressing shots of objets d'art that echoes the lines of the Toyota's new crossover vehicle, The ad asks us to ask ourselves: "Are you a Venza?" Uh, sure? The TOYOTA VENZA is the newest midsize high station wagon that gives the high seating position and cargo space (70.1 cubic feet) of an SUV, but drives and behaves like a sedan since it shares its underpinnings with that most benign of vehicles, the TOYOTA CAMRY. And like the ultra successful NISSAN MURANO, its appeal is less utilitarian and more artful. Available with a 182 horsepower inline-four engine or a 268 hp V6, we're sure we'll soon be seeing many of these on the road. - Liz Kim
